Screen printed cotton backed on the inside with a soft fleece, so this one carries real warmth without looking like a winter dress. It falls straight from the shoulder with no waist and no fastening. A small stand neck that sits close to the throat, sleeves cut straight to three quarters, two patch pockets and slits at both sides. At 40 inches it sits just below the knee on our model, who is 5 ft. 4 in. Roomy through the body. Gentle machine wash, low heat dry.

Not to be ghoulish, but I needed burial clothing for my partner and me for green burial. This means no plastic of any sort, even threads. I am exceedingly happy with the kaftans; they are well made and also lovely. It took quite a bit of reseach and I am SO GLAD I found Mala.
I absolutely love this dress! I will be ordering more! The color is so pretty and it is exactly what I expected after reading the description. The cotton gauze fabric is not too thin.
