Six pointed stars repeat edge to edge across the cloth, drawn in a single fine line so the pattern reads as texture from a distance and as geometry up close.

Screen printed cotton with a soft hand, so this dress moves rather than holds its shape. A shirt collar, coconut buttons from the neck to the hem, and sleeves cut to three quarters with a little width through the arm. The hem is short at the centre front and drops well down at the sides and back, so it wears longer than the number suggests. At 34 inches to the shortest point it sits above the knee on our model, who is 5 ft. 4 in. Gentle machine wash, low heat dry.
