Screen printed cotton with a soft hand, so this dress moves rather than holds its shape. A shirt collar, coconut buttons from the neck to the hem, and sleeves cut to three quarters with a little width through the arm. The hem is short at the centre front and drops well down at the sides and back, so it wears longer than the number suggests. At 34 inches to the shortest point it sits above the knee on our model, who is 5 ft. 4 in. Gentle machine wash, low heat dry.

Not to be ghoulish, but I needed burial clothing for my partner and me for green burial. This means no plastic of any sort, even threads. I am exceedingly happy with the kaftans; they are well made and also lovely. It took quite a bit of reseach and I am SO GLAD I found Mala.
I absolutely love this dress! I will be ordering more! The color is so pretty and it is exactly what I expected after reading the description. The cotton gauze fabric is not too thin.
