Broad scrolling stems and open flowers wind across the cloth in one continuous run, the line thick in places and fine in others the way a hand cut screen prints.
Screen printed cotton, cut with a round collar and buttons running from the neck to the hem. The sleeves gather into a tapered cuff at three quarters. Below the collar the body falls into a full gathered skirt that swings hard when you move. At 39 inches it sits just below the knee on our model, who is 5 ft. 4 in. Gentle machine wash, low heat dry.

Not to be ghoulish, but I needed burial clothing for my partner and me for green burial. This means no plastic of any sort, even threads. I am exceedingly happy with the kaftans; they are well made and also lovely. It took quite a bit of reseach and I am SO GLAD I found Mala.
I absolutely love this dress! I will be ordering more! The color is so pretty and it is exactly what I expected after reading the description. The cotton gauze fabric is not too thin.
