The only piece in the indigo range that is not built on white. The base is warm sand, and the blue lands on it in radiating fans, dense at the spine of each one, then breaking into a fine pale speckle across the rest of the cloth. Quieter than the blue and whites, and it sits more easily with the rest of a wardrobe.

A hand-dyed indigo kaftan cut from soft rayon, with the colour dipped over an undyed base so it reads warm rather than stark. V-neckline, side slits, slipover. At 48 inches it sweeps the floor around 4'11" and sits at the ankle around 5'2".

One size fits most up to US 3XL. First wash: soak overnight in water with 3 spoons of salt, then delicate machine wash cold and hang dry.
