A hand-painted tiger wraps around the neckline of this black jersey kaftan — a flash of detail right where the eye lands first. The brushwork is bold and loose, done entirely by hand, so each one sits a little differently. The rest of the kaftan stays clean black, letting the neckline do the talking.
The Alisa is fine jersey cotton — the same soft, lived-in feel as your favorite broken-in t-shirt, but in a full-length kaftan. Petite-proportioned through the bust, waist, and hips so the fabric drapes rather than drowns. V-neckline, two pockets, slipover style. At 50 inches it falls at mid-calf depending on height. I absolutely love the color and pattern! The cut of kaftan sleeves looked odd on me and made it hard to do things with my arms, but if you like kaftans, highly recommend. And it has pockets!!
I don't like the neckline.. it looks more rounded and softer in the picture than it actually is.. as in fact the neckline comes down to a sharp v high on the breastbone and I thought from seeing the images that it would have been a lot more rounded.. it fits well as in is well looded the way I need it to be.. thanku x
I've bought so many of her caftans, love living in these at home. She's always responsive, supportive and so lovely. It's a pleasure to support a good person with their small business. These are so comfy, fkowy and they wash and wear so well. I'm sure I'm not done yet, lol.
