Petrol is the deep blue-green that lives in the corner of the wardrobe and gets pulled out more than expected. Saturated enough to read as a real color choice, dark enough to read as neutral. As a solid jersey it sits flat and even, no glare, no shimmer.
The Alice in Petrol is cut from soft jersey cotton — a stretchy, breathable knit that lounges well on the couch and looks intentional on a coffee run. Boat neckline, two pockets, no slits, and a silhouette that falls loose from the body. At 53 inches it falls at the ankle or just above depending on height.

Not to be ghoulish, but I needed burial clothing for my partner and me for green burial. This means no plastic of any sort, even threads. I am exceedingly happy with the kaftans; they are well made and also lovely. It took quite a bit of reseach and I am SO GLAD I found Mala.
I absolutely love this dress! I will be ordering more! The color is so pretty and it is exactly what I expected after reading the description. The cotton gauze fabric is not too thin.
