Love the material, the tie die colors and design and the quality. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that if you are petite or even a smaller person, the kaftan kind of swallows you whole. Something to keep in mind. And if 5’ 3” +/-, order the shorter length. Not the 50. I will have to hem.

Amazing fabric texture and so comfortable! It’s not too long on my 5’4” frame and doesn’t fit snug across my 44in bust, which isn’t always the case with caftans. I did manage to split the side seam getting my knee caught in it BUT it was an easy fix. Just have to remember this type of fabric is more fragile than the regular cotton I’m used to.

Our kaftans are one size fits most - up to 3XL with the standard being 68" around bust/waist/hips. That being said, we do offer a petite collection with slimmer silhouettes.

Not to be ghoulish, but I needed burial clothing for my partner and me for green burial. This means no plastic of any sort, even threads. I am exceedingly happy with the kaftans; they are well made and also lovely. It took quite a bit of reseach and I am SO GLAD I found Mala.
