The print looks even better in person than in photos, which is not always the case. the fabric is light and breathable, and the cut is surprisingly … attractive for being essentially a rectangle. it is NOT just a sack.

the neckline is just the right depth so if you need a bra, it won’t show, but if you don’t, you won’t be the show, because the entire top of the garment is really cleverly cut. the appreciation to detail even extends to the tag, which is soft fabric sewn along one back seam; i’m really sensitive to tags, but i didn’t notice this while wearing the garment at all, and if it had bothered me it would’ve been easy to remove since it’s sewn separately. that alone is worth a sixth star to me.

tl;dr: if i could wear one garment for the rest of my life, it’d be mala’s beautiful, well-made caftans.

This is adorable! Love the evil eye print. I am 5'4" and 190+ pounds and this fits nice a loose without feeling like I'm swimming in it. It comes to below the knees too. The quality is great and the shipping was super fast. Thank you for the beautiful kaftans. ❤️
