They've held up very well to laundering, since your body isn't touching the garment you can wear during the most humid and hot days and re-wear which makes it great for travel. I'm just wearing for walking around the city but I get so many compliments!

This kaftan has me living out my 1960s Palm Springs dreams, even when I'm homebound in the suburbs during a global pandemic. Want to get glam for a Zoom happy hour? = put on a kaftan and big earrings. Need to walk to the mailbox and avoid your nosy neighbors? = put on a kaftan and a mask. Don't feel like wearing pants today because of crushing existential dread? = put on a kaftan and take a nap. It fits me - a size 18 - well with lots of lovely draping so the size recommendations are accurate. I'm 5'3" and it does slightly drag on the floor, but I don't mind - it's more dramatic.
Love the colors and texture of fabric. As for length, I’m 5’10” and the 60” caftan reaches the floor. I have a solid gauze from MaLa, too. I’ll be buying more from her.
