And that's the nature of a hand dyed garment. The fabric is a mid-weight cotton, and it's not see-through. If you hold one layer up to a light, you can see a little light, but you can't see anything through the double layer (as it would be on your body. You could definitely wear it to the market in addition to lounging around the house.
