Penelope Double Gauze Cotton Kaftan in Black

In the awful heat of this summer, I wanted a loose, elegant, & simple dress. This met all of those requirements. I am pleased as punch!!!!

The fabric was hotter / slightly thicker than expected but happy it’s finally arrived

I love this dress, will have to get another one to keep in closet for when I wear the first one out.

The dress was very flowy and comfortable, I plan to buy more in other colors! Length was perfect as described, I am 5’4 and purchased the 50 inch length. Very cool in the Az summer and I can’t wait to get more!

It’s a beautiful dashiki, which I will wear to my granddaughter’s wedding. Very simple and very lovely and it makes me look much slimmer than I am!

While she decided to return the caftan because the fabric seemed heavier than she thought it would be (she lives in a hot humid climate), she mentioned it was beautifully made. I ended up getting one for myself because of her purchase, and I LOVE mine! MaLa’s caftans are perfect for summertime! The color of this one is a perfect blue - pictures don’t do it justice. It’s well-crafted - seams are beautifully and neatly structured! I would definitely consider giving one of her caftans as a gift to someone I love.

Very lovely caftan! The fabric is very soft and airy, great for the summer yet it is not see through. The V neckline is not too low either, just right. Do be sure to order the correct size; I could have ordered about 2 sizes smaller but this will work for around the house or as a comfortable nightgown for hot weather! Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. Shipping was very fast too! A+++
