A warm natural white, soft rather than stark, in cotton with a gentle crinkle that catches the light.

Double gauze is two fine layers of cotton woven together, so it breathes like one layer and covers like two. Soft from the first wear, softer with every wash. The crinkle is part of the fabric, so it always looks relaxed. On this white, nude underwear is the easy answer for full coverage. A midi slipover with a V-neck front and back, side slits and no pockets.

A beach cover-up in July, a house dress all year. "Will make a great beach coverup or casual kaftan for around the house."

Black, in a soft crinkled cotton that looks considered even when you pulled it on in thirty seconds.

Double gauze is two fine layers of cotton woven together, so it breathes in the heat without clinging. The crinkle is part of the fabric and softens with every wash. A relaxed midi with a V-neck front and back, side slits and short kaftan sleeves. No pockets.

Premium rayon that feels silky, stays cool and falls in long, easy folds. Light, but not see-through. The V dips at the front and back, the arms are wide and open, and the side slits give you room to stride. No pockets. It's cut roomy on purpose, to float away from the body rather than follow it.

A house dress on Sunday, a pool cover-up midweek, dinner on the patio by Friday. "Perfect! I wear it as a house dress and it is excellent. Free flowing, keeps me cool, and easy to care for."

Sage with a soft gray cast, the easy green that sits quietly next to almost anything.

Ultra-light double gauze, two fine layers of cotton woven together, soft from the first wear and softer every wash. Light, but not see-through. Gloria is our slimmer double gauze cut: it falls straight and sits closer to the body than Penelope, without clinging. V-neck, side slits, short kaftan sleeves and no pockets.

Slow mornings, errands and warm evenings on the porch. "Beautiful beautiful item! I feel so chic lounging around the house in it."

A dusty, smoky lavender, soft and grown-up rather than sweet.

Beach days, garden afternoons, and summer weekends when you want one easy thing. "It is double layered, and a beautiful, subtle color. It is ample enough for my plus size body, very comfy, and a great addition to my wardrobe."

A true navy, and a deeper shade does quiet work: it reads a little more finished than a pale one, which is what makes this the version you can wear to something. Textured cotton muslin, soft from the first wear and softer after washing.

Wear it at home, over swimwear, or on a trip where you want one thing that works everywhere. "The double gauze is comfortable yet not transparent, which is great since the color is off white/ cream. Will be wearing this on my trip to Egypt!"
