Really lovely and comfortable for an all day event. I am 5'6" and the 55" was a bit too long for me. My own fault. Trust the suggested length.

I really love it! This caftan was so beautiful and the red color was so vibrant. The only issue was that it was too big and I had to return it. The return process went really well. MaLa sent me a return label and promptly refunded my money back to my payment source. When I return from vacation I plan on making another purchase. A great experience!

Mala Kaftan in Red
The caftan was just the right color, but there was a small hole in the fabric - center front It was not noticeable to me until after I had laundered it. Also, I misjudged the length of the garment - it was too long, with the side seams being much longer. Have to patch the hole and take up the length overall. The fabric is lightweight, I laundered it on delicate and hung to dry. The fabric wrinkles, requiring light pressing or steaming.
Everything is beautiful, feel good on me. Others likes my beautiful wardrobe and they feels they have to have or two maybe more like me. The many options you can make and buy is breathe taking. WINNER FOR SURE.
Beautiful flowing fit and color
Beautiful! Very comfortable, and elegant.
Very beautiful quality, incredibly soft and comfortable to wear~ it's super flowy and the color is gorgeous.
The 50" length is also perfect for my height of 5'5" and it skims the top of my feet, a very dramatic ultra maxi dress.
Caution: It does bleed a little bit upon first wash. I had washed it with a black shirt with cream embroidery which turned the thread a very light tint of almost orange, which was interesting. I do cold water, delicate cycle, delicate detergent, and hang dry.
Only negative, which is also a sign of how much I wear this kaftan: While laundering I have noticed small spots of pilling, but it's not noticeable when wearing.
TLDR; I love everything about this kaftan so much that I plan on getting it in black as well!

We try to photograph as true to color as we can. Since all these pieces are hand-tied and dyed, each kaftan will vary slightly.
Our kaftans are one size fits most - up to 3XL with the standard being 68" around bust/waist/hips. That being said, we do offer a petite collection with slimmer silhouettes.
