I ordered the white cotton kaftans for an adult baptism. I ordered two sizes, unsure if both would be needed and or what length would be best. Both arrived very quickly, beautiful low waste packing. Thin and has an uncomfortable seam down the middle of both sides. Shrunk several inches after washing .

I didn't like the fabric - it didn't drape very well.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with double gauze (I am a textile ignoramus) but this has a pleasing weight without being heavy; it feels lighter wearing it than on the hanger. I bought the white because of a friend’s theme birthday but the caftan is so nice i don’t want to ruin it by wearing it out on nasty city streets. It’s cut really low, so not having any way to tighten it is kind of preferable. still figuring out the proper way to iron it but it’s a really lovely garment.

This kaftan is perfect as a ceremonial dress. The material of double gauze, but i suggest wearing a light slip underneath. The size and shape are perfect. Extremely comfortable, I’d totally recommend

Beautiful and comfortable and comforting cotton gauze material makes you feel like a babe swaddled yet bc of the inherent design of a kaftan it serves its purpose creating a great amount of airflow to assist in your temperature regulation from the hot sunny humid outdoors to the cool inside you’re always comfortable not overheated nor cold the item is clearly quality made if I could live in it 24/7 I would if I could buy 5 more I would it’s worth it!

The material is very nice and softened after one washing. I would have liked it more if the caftan had pockets.

So versatile and fun to wear- can dress up or down. I always get compliments. With nude undergarments the white is not see through! It’s perfect.

I buy 1-2 Mala caftans every year. They are good quality and beautiful, and they would probably last for years if I didn't wear them every single day in the summer. :) They go with everything - I use them as a bathrobe, a coverup for swimming, throw on some earrings and I go to dinner with them. I always get compliments!

It's beautiful and well made, but, unfortunately, the white is completely see-through and can't be worn as I intended. I need light cotton clothing as an older woman who easily gets hot in the summer. I'd have to wear pants and a tank top underneath, which defeats the purpose. I guess it will just have to be an expensive nightgown or bathing suit cover.

I love this garment! The double gauze fabric is soft and substantial- so comfortable right out if the package!
