My girlfriend fell so in love with this multicolored caftan when she saw me wearing the other black & cream caftan I bought at the same time, that I decided to let her have it instead of keeping it for myself. She practically floated home in it, the fabric is so incredibly soft and caressed her curves so beautifully.
It made me smile to see how delighted she was with it, so I’m glad to “share the wealth”. Another friend thought the fabric felt more like silk than rayon. It’s downright impossible NOT to feel both graceful and elegant in these clothes. NOTE: The colors seem to vary in intensity depending on whether the light is natural or artificial, and the grey has a bluish tone under any light.

We try to photograph as true to color as we can. Since all these pieces are hand-tied and dyed, each kaftan will vary slightly.
Our kaftans are one size fits most - up to 3XL with the standard being 68" around bust/waist/hips. That being said, we do offer a petite collection with slimmer silhouettes.

Not to be ghoulish, but I needed burial clothing for my partner and me for green burial. This means no plastic of any sort, even threads. I am exceedingly happy with the kaftans; they are well made and also lovely. It took quite a bit of reseach and I am SO GLAD I found Mala.
