If you're a kaftan person, then don't hesitate to purchase. It's like a giant t-shirt. The colors of mine were slightly more muted than appeared in my browser, but still very pretty. And that's the nature of a hand dyed garment. The fabric is a mid-weight cotton, and it's not see-through. If you hold one layer up to a light, you can see a little light, but you can't see anything through the double layer (as it would be on your body. You could definitely wear it to the market in addition to lounging around the house.

I love this Kaftan! The weight of the fabric is delicious. I love the somewhat fitted sleeves. The neck is a little wide so it falls off one shoulder a bit, when I get sloppy sitting in my chair, but it hangs nicely when standing. I will buy more of these!
