Two tie-dyed starbursts radiate across black jersey cotto. Part pattern, part happy accident, and entirely unique to this piece. The combination of hand tie-dye and brushwork creates layers of color and texture that a machine could never replicate. Bold without being loud.
Underneath the paintwork, this is the same Alisa: fine jersey cotton with the soft, lived-in drape of your favorite t-shirt. Petite-proportioned through the bust, waist, and hips to keep the silhouette balanced on smaller frames. V-neckline, two pockets, slipover style. At 50 inches it falls at mid-calf depending on height. Part of Mala’s cozy collection — handmade loungewear for slow mornings and easy days.

Not to be ghoulish, but I needed burial clothing for my partner and me for green burial. This means no plastic of any sort, even threads. I am exceedingly happy with the kaftans; they are well made and also lovely. It took quite a bit of reseach and I am SO GLAD I found Mala.
