A hand-painted zebra pattern frames the neckline of this black jersey kaftan — graphic, unexpected, and entirely done by hand. The stripes sit right at the V-neck where they catch the eye without overwhelming the rest of the piece. Below the neckline, clean black jersey takes over.
The Alisa is fine jersey cotton with the soft, lived-in drape of your favorite t-shirt. Petite-proportioned through the bust, waist, and hips to keep the silhouette balanced on smaller frames. V-neckline, two pockets, slipover style. At 49 inches it falls at mid-calf depending on height. Part of Mala’s cozy collection — a kaftan for mornings at home, coffee runs, and every low-key day.

Not to be ghoulish, but I needed burial clothing for my partner and me for green burial. This means no plastic of any sort, even threads. I am exceedingly happy with the kaftans; they are well made and also lovely. It took quite a bit of reseach and I am SO GLAD I found Mala.
