I initially ordered a pattern that was out of stock. She contacted me to let me know. After some miscommunication on my end, we were able to find a pattern I liked and I literally had the package the next day. I didn't realize that this was a plus-sized caftan when I ordered it. I should have read the measurements more closely. It's great for everyday but it was huge on me so I had to return.

Not to be ghoulish, but I needed burial clothing for my partner and me for green burial. This means no plastic of any sort, even threads. I am exceedingly happy with the kaftans; they are well made and also lovely. It took quite a bit of reseach and I am SO GLAD I found Mala.
I absolutely love this dress! I will be ordering more! The color is so pretty and it is exactly what I expected after reading the description. The cotton gauze fabric is not too thin.
