Cut from soft premium rayon that drapes and moves, this kaftan hangs loose and away from the body with a V neckline, side slits and a slipover shape. At 52 inches it sits at the ankle around 5 ft. 6 in. and sweeps the floor around 5 ft. 3 in. Generously wide, one size up to US 4XL. Gentle machine wash, low heat dry, first wash separately.

I have enjoyed two of their other kaftans and would give those 5 stars.
This kaftan, however, is made of different quality fabric than the other two I have. And it shows any kind of moisture- ie sweat, deodorant, etc like a stain. So it's unwearable. It looks terrible. I put deodorant on this morning after putting the kaftan on, and within the hour my husband asked what had gotten on my "dress." I looked and realized it was my deodorant making a dark patch on the kaftan near each armpit. Terrible, now this kaftan will be unusable because even if I get the stain out, I can't go without deodorant, so then it will just happen again.
Would not recommend this specific kaftan from their line.

It’s very attractive and feels nice and seems to be good quality material and sewing. I’m definitely going to get more from this shop. It also arrived very fast. This item is the style where the front and back are sewn together right at the edge with no extra fabric—I actually prefer the other kind somewhat (it drapes better), but this one is still very good.

The shipment arrived earlier than expected. While the color is black and white like it appears in the photos, its still comfortable and well made. Just what I was looking for!

The only gripe I have is that I thought the garment would be black and white, but it’s black and tan, and I looked TERRIBLE in it. I’m keeping it, however, to give to my sister because she’ll look amazing!

This is my fourth kaftan from MALA and the fabric is nice but the color is not what I expected from the photo. I was expecting more a of a black/white or off-white and what I got was black with tan. It's still lovely but that was a surprise. Also, these kaftans are usually 50" long which is the perfect length for me at 5'4" but this one is a couple of inches too long and I will need to have it hemmed. So while I'm not completely thrilled with this one, the quality looks as good as always and it was delivered SUPER fast. I will definitely keep ordering from MALA and maybe this was just a blip.
