Creamy white, scattered with big black dots. Each dot is hand tied and dyed, so the edges burst out a little differently on every piece.

Jersey cotton with a soft T-shirt feel and a gentle stretch, heavy enough that the white isn't sheer. It drapes against the body rather than floating away. Boat neck, short sleeves, two side pockets and no side slits.

The one you live in all summer. "I have lived in this caftan this summer. It is a lovely cotton, fun pattern, has pockets. What more could you ask?"

Bright watermelon pink, scattered with deep merlot dots. Each dot is hand tied and dyed, so the edges burst out softly and no two land quite the same.

For slow weekends, coffee runs and long afternoons on the couch. As one Alice customer put it: "The jersey cotton is so nicely dense and I am delighted to see this kind of quality these days."

Black with white hand-painted lotus leaves is the most graphic kaftan in the Alice range, every leaf placed by hand in batik wax, so no two pieces land identically. The white reads almost luminous against the deep black, especially on a soft jersey.

White, fuchsia, and aqua is the kind of pairing that doesn't try to coordinate — the bright pink and the cool aqua bleed into the white in a way that reads almost ocean-coral, especially in the lighter spots. It's the kaftan that photographs differently every time.

Olive on a tie-dyed jersey reads less like a single color and more like a conversation between sage and moss — quiet at the edges, deeper where the dye settled. It's a green that disappears next to most of your wardrobe, in a good way.
